If you value the privacy of yourself and your loved ones, and dislike the
idea of a centralized government surveillance database, you can follow
these steps below or feel free to reach out to me at
Thomas@FriendlyCityDrivesFree.org
Send Open Records Requests to our Sheriff's Department at
csopublicrecords@outlook.com
or to our Police Department at
openrecords@cityofscottsville.org. Be sure to specify any documents you would have a reasonable
suspicion that they would hold on to. They claim they don't have
Organizational Audit and Network Audit Logs, but many other Police
Department using Flock Safety Nationwide Search in the United States
have been able to provide them, and
Flock Safety
themselves say that they exist.
Go to City Council meetings, talk to people, share this website and
other resources, and speak to our Mayor and City Councilors about this
issue.
Help bring awareness to the privacy violations, false accusations, and
legal complaints brought up against or by Flock Safety. When we get the
cameras out of Scottsville, we will show the surrounding communities
that we care about our 4th Amendment right to not be subject to
unreasonable searches.
Example OPR request
This
is the one that I sent; feel free to use any segment you wish, or search
for any other templates available online. Ask for any documents you
would like, they don't have to be Flock related. The more you know
about the place you live the better!
